General Terms and Conditions

This warranty is only valid for Pioneer products purchased in Malaysia ONLY. This means that products are purchased through our authorized dealers, reseller, and online merchant distributed by Yupiteru Technology (M) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd. It is non-transferable.

This warranty only applied to Pioneer products that are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase and continuing for the warranty period specifies ("Warranty Period")

( A ) Warranty Period

  1. The Warranty period shall be:
    1. All Pioneer DJ product are varied for 12 months only.
    2. All Pioneer Car Multimedia AV Receiver are varied for 24 months only.
    3. All Pioneer Car Entertainment product includes Receiver, Speaker, Subwoofer, Amplifier, and Accessories are varied for 12 months only.
    4. Any extended warranty is subject to T&C based on the event/promotion held during the given date/time.
  2. The Warranty period starts from the date you purchase the Product and ceases upon the expiration of the period. Your original purchase invoice (sales receipt or order confirmation e-mail), showing the date of purchase and product description, is your proof of the date of purchase.

( B ) Warranty Coverage

  1. Limitation:
    1. The repair and replacement of any parts of the products will be at the option of Yupiteru Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd.
    2. For audio player with screen, repair/services claim are subject to a maximum of one (1) time replacement of parts for touch panel screen and optical pick up only.
    3. All defective replaced spare parts shall not be returned to the owner.
    4. All claims on repair & replacement of parts should not exceed the product purchase price.
    5. Yupiteru Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to replace the product with a current equivalent model after attempt to repair the product fails.
  2. Exclusion (What's Not Covered):
    1. This warranty does not cover routine inspection, maintenance, adjustment and/or cleaning.
    2. This warranty does not cover any external and internal appearance of the products, accessories used in conjunction with the product (e.g., cables, antennas, remote controls, speakers, microphones, batteries etc) and free gift items.
    3. This warranty does not cover any damages to recordings, discs or recording tapes during operations.
    4. This warranty does not cover damages to the products resulting from natural disaster (such as earthquake, flood, lightning, or pollution), fire, attacked by household pests, civil unrest, and accident during goods in transit.
    5. This warranty does not cover any damages to the product resulting from misuse and or consequential damage due to the negligence and abuse, improper use of electrical supply, subsequent damage from leaking, damages or inoperative batteries or the use of batteries not conforming to those specified in the Owner's instruction.
    6. This warranty does not cover modification or alteration on the product circuitry or software and or otherwise has been tampered with by authorized parties.
    7. Altered, defaces, or removed serial numbers on this warranty card and/or products with void this warranty.
    8. This warranty does not cover any damages to speakers that has been subjected to power in excess of its published power rating.
    9. This warranty does not cover dismantling or installation or car stereo systems of repair or after repair.
    10. This warranty does not apply to products that has been used for trade or business.
    11. This Warranty is only valid and applicable to official Products which are licensed for sale and purchase in Malaysia only under distribution by Yupiteru Tehcnology (M) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd. Parallel imports are excluded from this Warranty. There is no repair service for all parallel imported products.

Pioneer Malaysia ( Yupiteru Tehcnology (M) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd) expressly disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied, including without limitation implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law. Under no circumstances shall Yupiteru Tehcnology (M) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd liable for loss of products, natural disaster, indirect or consequential damages sustained in connection with Pioneer or Pioneer DJ product which are not distributed by Yupiteru Tehcnology (M) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd

( B ) Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. How to register your product
    1. Customer must complete the Warranty Registration Card and submit to Yupiteru Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd via post or CLICK HERE for online registration.
    2. Only fully completed warranty registration card received within 14 days from the date of purchased will be accepted. The Warranty Registration Card must clearly indicate the date of purchase, customer’s particulars, dealer’s endorsement, Pioneer product purchased and its serial number.
  2. How to make your warranty claim
    1. You may send in your product for repair services by Yupiteru Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd, and its Authorized Service Centre(s).
    2. The Warranty Card together with original purchase receipt must be presented to the Pioneer Authorized Service Centre when registering Pioneer product for warranty repair.
    3. Any alteration or amendments to the warranty card will render the warranty void. Please produce the warranty card when requesting for service.
  3. Important notes need to be attention for your product warranty
    1. Yupiteru Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd | DJ Technology (M) Sdn Bhd will not be liable for warranty registration card that is lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, or not received by the closing date. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that correct details are provided in the Warranty Registration Card.
    2. Misplaced or destroyed warranty card will not be replaced.
    3. Warranty is subject to terms and conditions, verification, and approval

The Management reserves the right to change the terms and condition without prior notice.
